Your Mum and Baby Classes Brisbane FAQ

Our Mum and Baby Classes Brisbane FAQ covers the most common questions about our programs, including class ages,

what to bring, baby-friendly fitness, mothers groups, parking, bookings and what to expect when you visit The Mum Club.

Are babies welcome at The Mum Club classes?
Absolutely. The Mum Club has been created with mums and little ones in mind. Depending on the program, babies can relax on mats, play nearby, be cuddled, fed or settled whenever they need. There’s no pressure for babies to behave a certain way, real life with babies is always welcome here.

What ages are The Mum Club classes for?
Our programs are designed for different stages of early motherhood, from newborns through to toddlers. Age recommendations vary between mothers groups, music, messy play, baby sign language, massage and other programs, so check the individual program page for the best fit for your little one.

What can I expect from your Mothers Group Brisbane program?
Our 10-week Mothers Group Brisbane program brings together mums at a similar stage of motherhood for connection, support and practical information. Each week includes time to settle in and meet other mums, plus expert-led conversations covering topics relevant to early motherhood. It’s relaxed, baby-friendly and designed to help genuine friendships grow beyond the program.

Do you offer baby-friendly fitness in Brisbane?
Yes. Our baby-friendly fitness Brisbane program, Mama Reset, is designed specifically for postnatal mums, with your baby welcome alongside you. Classes focus on rebuilding strength, mobility and confidence in a supportive environment where you’re always free to pause to feed, cuddle or settle your baby.

When can I start postpartum exercise after having my baby?
Every postpartum recovery is different. Before beginning postpartum exercise, we recommend following the advice of your doctor, physiotherapist or other qualified healthcare professional, particularly after birth complications or a caesarean. Our Mama Reset classes can then be adapted to suit different stages of postnatal recovery.

What happens if my baby cries or needs feeding during class?
That’s completely okay, babies are babies. You’re welcome to pause at any time to feed, cuddle, change or settle your little one. Our classes are designed around the realities of motherhood, so there’s never any pressure if your baby needs you.

What do I need to bring to my first session?
What you’ll need varies slightly by program, but we aim to make coming to The Mum Club as easy as possible. Bring your usual baby essentials and anything your little one may need during the session. Any class-specific requirements will be included in your booking information.

Where are The Mum Club classes held?
All of our classes are held at our dedicated studio in Rocklea, Brisbane, with convenient parking available nearby. You can view directions, parking information and studio facilities on Our Studio page.

Do I need to book in advance?
Yes. Our programs have limited places to keep sessions welcoming and comfortable, so we recommend booking early if you have a preferred class or time. Bookings can be made online through our Book Now page.
